Los tulipanes tardíos 'Queen of the night' son muy originales con sus flores purpura negras. Florecen en abril / mayo.
Los tulipanes tardíos, tienen unos largos tallos, y ofrecen una opulenta floración en el mes de mayo.
Plante los bulbos de octubre a diciembre, la punta hacia arriba, a 15cm de distancia y 15cm de profundidad. Riegue justo después de la plantación, después regularmente durante el cultivo, por la tarde después de la puesta de sol.
Los tulipanes se plantan en maceta, macizos o rocallas, en grupos prietos para dar un efecto de color intenso.
Si el otoño o el invierno son secos, algunos riegos serán indispensables para asegurarse de que los bulbos se arraiguen correctamente, y tengan por ello una buena floración.
